Jolly Babies offers first musical experiences for babies aged 12 weeks to 1 year. Classes are limited to approx. 8 babies in a session lasting 30 minutes. Sessions are carefully structured for young babies to start quietly, building to a stimulating middle section and then slowing to a calm ending. Only one new song is introduced each week to encourage repetition, continuity and security. The classes encourage early social skills, bonding between baby and parent and early speech development as well as fun and making friends for baby and carer.
The songs are a mixture of nursery rhymes, traditional songs and original songs especially composed for Jolly Babies. Only one new song is introduced each week to encourage repetition, continuity and security.
